I am impressed with the work of the Diversity Foundation. Specifically, I am impressed with the way you have merged education and documentary film-making.
There is no question that we need to work hard to ease tensions and bring about reconciliation in our ever increasingly diverse population. Coming up with effective, creative ways to ease those tensions and effect reconciliation is crucial for our success. The Diversity Foundation seems to have done just that. Not only do your seminars and forums provide opportunities to elicit insight and understanding, but your multimedia documentary approach provides a rich historical context to inform our current debate.
I firmly believe that this dual approach will help us in the healing that needs to occur and the reconciliation that is our path to the future.
